Shiya Ongalazi means "Leave It" - but we chose to never leave.

Founded in Durban, KZN — the birthplace of GQOM — SHIYAONGALAZI.COM is the official GQOM X SGUBHU VAULT.

What started as a love for the hard-hitting drums and hypnotic chants of the township became a mission: to create a home where the culture lives, breathes and evolves.

The Vault holds three things:

1. SGUBHU SONGS - The soulful, log-drum driven evolution.

2. GQOM SONGS - The original, unapologetic pulse of Durban. 2016 backwards.

3. MERCH & CBR DROPS - Limited pieces that carry the same energy as the music.

3. EVENT (uncornfirmed) - We'd like to host an event playing all these songs....
